Now Preschooler TV Time is Learn to Read Time
As a lifelong lover of books, Cynthia Vincent understands that early reading is key to success in life. This young Richmond mother and her husband read regularly to their two rambunctious pre-schoolers. Now, they have created a DVD to help turn their TV into a fun and exciting way to encourage their little ones to read on their own.
Richmond, CA March 19, 2010—Today, Cynthia Vincent and her husband Errol Vincent announce the launching, of an interactive, phonics based, learning DVD which they created to introduce reading basics to young children. Believing that early education begins at home, the Vincents created the DVD, “Bubble Trouble!” as an entertaining and delightful animation designed to inspire early reading and build self esteem.
By age 3, their son had learned the letters of the alphabet and he was ready to begin building words and reading. As parents, they looked for ways to make reviewing the sounds of letters and words equally fun and entertaining for both their son and their 2 year old daughter. Using bright and colorful animations, the interactive DVD, “Bubble Trouble!” reviews the alphabet while providing a comprehensive overview of letter sounds. It also highlights left to right reading skills, encourages problem solving, and contains reading games which give children the satisfaction of applying what they have learned.
When asked why children love, “Bubble Trouble!” Errol responded, “children love this DVD because, it not only teaches them, but it entertains and inspires them to learn while having fun.
“Bubble Trouble!” available now via the website WWW.TeachYourChild2Read.COM along with additional resources including free on-line games and talking books, can prove very useful in helping to create a learning focused environment as parents strive to find tools and resources to assist them in preparing their children for success in school. As stated in the landmark Carnegie Foundation report, Ready to Learn: A Mandate for the Nation, “Home is the first classroom. Parents are the first and most essential teachers.”
