Learning Spanish for children and adults alike can often seem challenging. However, I have found that the easiest way to introduce Spanish to my children is to read them classic stories that they love, and read those stories in both Spanish and English.

Right now, my children's favorites are Los Tres Cerditos (The Three Little Pigs), and Juan Y Los Frijoles Májicos (Jack and the Beanstalk). Both books contain vibrant pictures and these classics are retold in a fun and engaging way.

A Fun Way to Learn Spanish
Why Learn Spanish?

Spanish is the fourth most common language in the world.

There are many reasons why it is a good idea for children to learn Spanish. I believe that teaching my children other languages is an excellent way to help them appreciate other cultures. I also believe that if my children are able to learn Spanish now they will be able to learn other Latin based languages later such as Italian and French with much more ease. Also, I have been told that learning Spanish early may even help them should they choose to learn Russian and or German later in life.
